Description
The AVM FRITZ!Box 7530 is a complete all-in-one home networking device – DSL modem, Wi-Fi router, telephone system, smart home hub and media server in a single device. It is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to run their home network simply, reliably and with the full range of features – without having to buy and configure several separate devices.
On the internet side, the FRITZ!Box 7530 supports VDSL connections of up to 300 Mbit/s with 35b supervectoring – the fastest DSL standard available – as well as conventional VDSL and ADSL lines. If you do not have a DSL connection, you can also operate the box as a pure router behind a cable modem, a fibre-optic connection or an LTE/UMTS data stick. IPv4 and IPv6 are both supported.
The dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (IEEE 802.11ac/n/g/b/a) delivers up to 866 Mbit/s in the 5 GHz band and up to 400 Mbit/s in the 2.4 GHz band – for fast streaming, gaming and browsing throughout your home. The FRITZ!Box 7530 is fully mesh-capable: together with other FRITZ! devices such as FRITZ!Repeater or FRITZ!Powerline, it forms an intelligent mesh network that automatically supplies devices with the strongest signal and enables seamless Wi-Fi handover as you move from room to room. 4 Gigabit LAN ports are available for wired connections, and a USB port lets you integrate printers or USB storage devices into your home network.
The integrated DECT telephone system supports up to six cordless phones – calls run via the box, and up to five built-in answering machines with voicemail function (voice message by email) are included. An analogue (a/b) port (TAE/RJ11) also allows you to connect an analogue telephone, answering machine or fax machine.
FRITZ!OS – the box's operating system, which is updated regularly free of charge – offers a clear, German-language user interface with the full range of features: parental controls with time limits and website filters, a guest network, VPN remote access, smart home control for DECT ULE/HAN-FUN devices (e.g. FRITZ!DECT smart plugs and radiator thermostats), port forwarding, DynDNS and much more. The FRITZ!Apps for iOS and Android also give you access to phone books, answering machines, network storage and settings when you are on the go. With an average power consumption of just 6 W, the FRITZ!Box 7530 is also exceptionally energy-efficient.
