The Doro 1360 is a compact, lightweight mobile phone that focuses on the essentials: reliable calling, easy messaging and intuitive operation – with no touchscreen and no learning curve. It is the ideal phone for anyone looking for a simple, dependable device for everyday use – especially for seniors or as an uncomplicated second phone on the go.
Measuring 126 mm high, 61.5 mm wide and weighing just 96 g, the Doro 1360 is one of the lightest and most compact phones on the market. It fits comfortably in any shirt or jacket pocket and, thanks to its pleasantly rounded shape, sits securely in the hand. The 2.4-inch TFT colour display with 240 × 320 pixels shows text, contacts and menus clearly and legibly. The large, well-separated keys with backlighting make dialling numbers and writing messages easy and reliable – even for hands that find smaller keys difficult.
The most important safety feature is the emergency button on the back of the device: in an emergency, a single press automatically sends a help text message to up to five pre-saved contacts and then automatically calls the first contact – if the call is not answered, the phone moves on to the next one. In addition, the ICE profile (In Case of Emergency) lets you store medical information such as blood group, allergies, medication and emergency contacts directly on the device – always at hand in an emergency.
The dual SIM feature allows two micro-SIM cards to be used at the same time – practical for anyone who wants to keep private and business numbers separate or use a local SIM abroad. The 800 mAh battery lasts several days with up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby – and can easily be replaced if needed. The internal storage can be expanded via microSD card up to 32 GB. Bluetooth 3.0 enables wireless connection to hands-free kits or headphones, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack lets you use wired headphones without an adapter. The device operates on the GSM network (2G) and is not locked to any network.
