Apple quite immodestly called the - as the name suggests - 12.9-inch touchscreen of the iPad Pro 12.9 (2020) "the world's most advanced mobile display". And its features certainly live up to this claim. It has the best color accuracy in comparison. This makes it ideal for graphic work. TrueTone also adjusts the color temperature to the ambient light so that the colors appear very natural. The 120 Hz "ProMotion" refresh rate ensures that movements are displayed very smoothly. Like the iPad Pro 12.9 (2018), it has a very high resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels.

The previous model had a relatively simple camera installed. The 2020 model, on the other hand, has a camera like no other tablet before: a dual camera with LiDAR scanner, also known as a time-of-flight camera. Thanks to a wide-angle lens with 12 megapixels and an ultra-wide-angle lens with 10 megapixels, it takes great photos. But even more possibilities are hidden in the LiDAR scanner. It can precisely measure the distances to objects in the environment. This makes highly realistic augmented reality applications possible.

Anyone who often works creatively will know this: photo, 3D or video files take up a lot of storage space. That's why Apple offers the 2020 iPad Pro with up to one terabyte. Of course, there are also smaller versions with 512, 256 or 128 gigabytes. There's something for everyone. Practical: Thanks to the USB-C port, the storage can also be expanded with an external hard drive! This is unusual for Apple devices. However, it does not have a slot for an SD card.
