Description
The Alcatel LINKHUB HH71 is a compact 4G LTE home router – the ideal solution for anyone who wants fast internet at home via the mobile network without relying on a fixed broadband connection. Whether in areas without DSL or fibre, as a backup connection or for flexible use without being tied to a fixed line – the HH71 delivers reliable Wi-Fi at LTE Cat 7 level.
With a theoretical download speed of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speed of up to 100 Mbit/s, it is one of the faster home routers in the 4G class. This is made possible by LTE Carrier Aggregation, which uses several LTE frequency bands simultaneously to combine the available bandwidth. The common European LTE bands at 700, 800, 900, 1500, 1800, 2100 and 2600 MHz are supported – making the device compatible with all major German mobile networks.
The dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and 2×2 MIMO technology reliably supplies up to 32 devices with internet at the same time – including smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, games consoles and smart home devices. For wired connections, two Ethernet ports (RJ45) are available – one for LAN/WAN and one for LAN only. The integrated RJ11 phone port also lets you connect a conventional landline phone or a DECT phone – for calls via the mobile network.
If you live in an area with a weaker LTE signal, you can significantly improve reception via two external TS-9 antenna connectors using standard outdoor LTE antennas – without modifications or specialist knowledge. The compact white housing can be placed discreetly on a shelf or table. A nano SIM card (not included) is required – the device is network-unlocked (SIM-free) and works with all compatible SIM cards.
